Team Practice Guidelines
Practices are mandatory missing practice during the week will result in a 1 period team suspension during the next game.
Players are expected to be on the ice surface on time and fully prepared: including: helmets strapped on properly, pants zipped up, wearing correct practice jersey and socks, bring 2 hockey sticks and water bottle to surface, players should not have to go back into dressing room until practice ends. White or black tape only on socks and sticks.
Players are expected to stretch with the team at the beginning of practice and give an honest effort in stretching/ preparing for practice and reducing the chances of injury (which hurts YOUR team).
Players are expected to fully follow directions and give an honest effort in every practice situation to the best of their personal abilities. Every player should help set up the next drill and get to where they need to be. Prepare for playoffs during every practice and improve.
Detroit Falcons T-shirts are to be worn during off-ice training with a pair of black shorts. Proper athletic shoes are required.
Locker rooms must be clean after practice. All pucks, cones, coaches’ board, pennies, etc. must be picked up after practice. Pucks going out of ice surface must be picked up after practice. Facilities: Viking Arena and Five Star Training Center, treat with respect; represent program well.
